We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it by submitting a form on this website or contacting us directly. We do not collect data passively beyond the analytics described below.

- Enquiry data (name, email, phone, service interest) — retained for up to 2 years from last contact, or until you request deletion
- Client service data — retained for up to 6 years from the end of the service engagement, as required by Portuguese commercial and tax law (Código Comercial, Art. 40)
- Analytics data — retained by Google Analytics for 14 months (the maximum we have configured)
- Marketing data — Meta Pixel data retention is governed by Meta's own privacy policy
Your rights

Children's data
Our services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
International data transfers
Some of our data processors (Netlify, Zapier, Google, Meta, EmailJS) are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — specifically, EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission, or an adequacy decision by the European Commission where applicable.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These include:
- All data transmission over HTTPS (encrypted)
- Access to client data restricted to Carlos Gomes only
- Form submissions processed by Netlify and routed via Zapier to a private, access-controlled Google Sheet
- No payment card data is ever collected or stored by Algarve Made Easy
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you have concerns about a specific data interaction, please contact us directly.
